This lovely young mare has many possibilities ahead, and all of them are amazing!  Shakira has 3 great gaits, is flashy without being too bold, and, at 15.3 hh, still growing.  She is a very “go-ey” mare, nice in the hand, sensitive without being too hot, and super smart.  Shakira will hack out quietly; alone or in company.  Good on the ground, with no barn vices, this is a super mare that could fit well in many disciplines, from dressage to jumpers to the hunt field.  Shakira was formally started under saddle with trainer, Joel Mobley utilizing Clinton Anderson's natural horsemanship methods.
Once Shakira’s foundation was completed she went into dressage training and now is currently schooling over fences both in the ring and cross country in Tryon, NC.  She will soon be introduced to showing and fox hunting. 

Shakira is an  Oldenberg and ISR registry, sired by Sempatico M, a well know Oldenburg Stallion coveted for his temperament, breeding lines and rideability under saddle.  Shakira possesses all the virutes of Sempatico M and more.
